The Ann Demeulemeester brand has come to represent an intelligent approach to the craft – rising above trends and instead offering a continually evolving system of dressing that is both deeply personal to the wearer and profoundly relevant to its context – thanks to its integrity and fierce independence. Through close collaborations with photographers, musicians, curators and artists, the brand has cultivated a distinctive aesthetic and a loyal following.
In 2020 Ann Demeulemeester welcomed Antonioli Group, which took over the brand with great respect for the past and a clear vision for the future.
Antonioli's mission, to reposition Ann Demeulemeester as a High-end Luxury Designer brand, while staying faithful to the strong brand image established over the years, began with the Autumn/Winter 2021-2022 collection.
The brand entered a new era in 2023, with the appointment of Stefano Gallici as Creative Director. Born in 1996 in Teor, Stefano Gallici discovered fashion through punk rock, indie and garage. Attracted by the continuity between musical and aesthetic expression, he made it the foundation of his own creative quest. A graduate of IUAV university in Venice, he joined Ann Demeulemeester in 2020. During his tenure, he has presented two Spring/ Summer and one Autumn / Winter collection to critical acclaim. His vision of the house is nourished by a mixture of musical leanings and respect for Ann’s work, synthesized in a vibrant and individual signature.
