Shipments destined for countries inside the European Union do not contain an invoice or any other documentation declaring the value of the merchandise.
All shipments destined for countries outside the European Union, as required by Customs regulations, are accompanied by an invoice declaring the value of the merchandise.
Customers purchasing from a country served as DDP will incur relevant import duty and tax. These costs are included in the final purchase price.
Customers purchasing from a country served as DDU will be charged for the items purchased and shipping costs only. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from DHL or an import broker appointed by you. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.

Easter and Easter Monday
A pre-order is the reservation of an item that is not yet available for sale, but will be soon. Pre-order items are shipped upon the arrival of the products in the warehouse within the time that is stated on the item’s purchase page. In case the merchandise in pre-order fails in delivery, ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM will promptly inform and refund customers. ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM will not be held responsible for a delay in shipment caused by circumstances beyond the control of ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM that cause pre-ordered products to arrive at the warehouse later than the time specified on the product’s purchase page. In pre-order purchases credit cards are debited at the moment the order is placed.
Regarding order with available items and pre-orderable items, shipment will happen in 2 different phases:
Available merchandise will be shipped with standard shipping methods and
Pre-orderable items will be shipped right after items are available in stock.
When the order is shipped, Clients receive an email from ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM or the DHL specifying the tracking number and a direct link to monitor the shipment status.
In the event of delays in Customs, Clients will be notified directly by the courier and/or ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM.
Successful Shipment Delivery
Upon delivery of every order, Clients are asked to inspect the box carefully BEFORE signing for the delivery. ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM packages arrive in brown boxes with brown tape.
If for any reason the box looks tampered with, either sign for the package with reservations or refuse the package. In the event that the box has been signed for by an unknown party or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, open a claim immediately with the courier and contact ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM at email@example.com.
When there is a reception desk or doorperson present at the address, the courier is authorized to deliver the package to the on-duty personnel.
If the package or the items are damaged or if an item shown in the delivery note is missing from inside, the packaging must be kept for further verification.
Any claim regarding damages, missing merchandise and/or delivery to the wrong address, must be received by ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM within 10 days from the order’s delivery date on the carrier’s website, otherwise the claim will not be accepted.
If the package is not successfully delivered to the Client’s address due to a lack of cooperation from the Client (wrong telephone number, wrong address, absent at address, non-compliance with import regulations) as per the ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM commercial agreement, the package may risk being sent back to Italy at the Client’s expense including any import fees that may be assessed upon re-entry to Italy. These fees will be deducted from any eventual reimbursement.
Shipment Documents For Exotic Pelts
Shipments from ANNDEMEULEMEESTER.COM that contain an item made with exotic pelts, endangered animals or plants, or any other material included in the Washington Convention, destined outside of the European Union by law require an extra document called C.I.T.E.S. (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
This document acts as a passport for the item and explains that the item comes from an animal that was either farm raised or caught in the wild specifically for commerce. For more information please see: www.cites.org .
In Italy the documents are issued by Corpo Forestale dello Stato, the Italian C.I.T.E.S. Management Authority, and normally take 14 days to be processed, but unforeseen delays are possible.
The merchandise will be shipped as soon as AD MILANO S.R.L has received all necessary documentation.
In some cases, the Customs office of the final destination may ask the Client to provide an import license in order to allow the merchandise to be cleared by Customs. This import license must be requested and obtained by the Client from the designated C.I.T.E.S. Management Authority in their country, before the merchandise is shipped by AD MILANO S.R.L.
Any costs involved in the process of obtaining the license are the Client’s responsibility and are not refundable by AD MILANO S.R.L.
